FRC 2009 Frau POW! V. 1.0
FIRST Robotics Contest 2009 "Frau. POW!"This is our first effort at the whole enchilada. Students designed the robot to collect, transport, deliver, and shoot orbit balls. Frau. POW! is versatile. Replacing the pneumatic shooter with second storage elevator will allow us to collect and deliver up to 20 orbit balls. The six wheel drive train features a direct drive transmission with the four rear wheels doubled for more pushing traction. Top speed is 14.5 feet per second. Programming includes a mock gear shift for less slippage and better speed control, ball collector retrieve and dispense, and shooter fire and turret aiming control. Frau. POW! can collect and deliver, as well as hit any target within ten feet. She's built tough too!
